Why sell tattoo designs if you're a tattooer?

  •  Indeed, I am a tattooer, and the simple answer is, I'm trying to open doors.
I constantly experience meeting people who want the style of work that I do and I'm simply unable to do it because of one limitation or another, wether it be financial, transportation, tattoo location, or I'm out of work again. I recognize these obstacles as very real shut doors between the style of work I love to design and the clients who love to have it tattooed. I don't uphold the scarcity mindset that I need to hoard my skill, and I'm sincerely hoping that it's the rejection of that mindset that will help carve a path for my full experience as an artist with chronic pain so I can lean, fully, into the limitless potential of freelance illustration totally informed by my love for tattoos. I sincerely hope this opens many doors.

Why purchase Consent?

  •  There are a couple of great reasons! Purchasing consent is an ethical alternative to the “tracing” era we find ourselves in! It’s a way to use the internet as flash while actually supporting that artist’s years of hard work and experience that's put into making something soul filled. I provide a bit more than consent for a bit more than a purchase. When you purchase tattoo consent, I send you my consent along with the linesheet for the the design, making it easier for you to print/size it how you want it at home + take whatever time you need to feel confident in your tattoo choice. It, also, makes work easier for your tattooer; no extra homework, no extra grind! If you love your tattooer, bring them the line sheet bro.

Can you recommend a tattooer in my area?

  •  I don't currently keep a list of tattooers that slay this style of tattoo. If you are a tattooer and you'd like to be on a list like this deff reach out through the contact page.
If you don't currently have a tattooer in mind, I suggest researching shops within your ability to travel, consider tattooers who will reflect it in a way you want it tattooed well (maybe you want black and grey, maybe you want color, hell maybe you want someone to make it traditional idk) but you should pick someone based on their ability to do quality work of the kind you are seeking. You can then email them with the information you have and see if they'd like to work with you, be open to the idea that they may want to make changes to better serve you.
You can also email a shop without a specific artist in mind and ask if they feel anyone would be confident in taking this on. Include that you have a linesheet, consent, and an image. Be sure to check out any suggested tattooer's portfolio so you can make an informed choice.

Can I purchase consent, as a tattooer, to tattoo a design on a client?

  •  Absolutely! With the demand placed on tattooers to create masterpieces every single day from the moment they get a machine, I hope you benifit from this, I would sure love to be supported by you too! Please read the tattoo consent details page, as they still apply to ya and please consider supporting me over at patreon. There is a tier of support where you can ask me questions one on one and I'd be happy to share tattoo techniques that I've learned over the last nine years, applied to these designs, you'd have a killer edge at this rotating menu of soul filled tattooable work.✨

Can I book a tattoo with you?

  •  I am not taking new clients right now. Clients currently on my list will be contacted for appointments as openings are created. When I do have last minute openings, I'll post to RobotLoveNoises on Instagram, please turn your notifications "on".

Can I commission you to draw me a tattoo?

  •   Absolutely! I love to create designs for people to sit with before taking the idea and new found confidence to an artist in their area. I also love taking on Art commissions for several other mediums!

Can I use my Art Credit to buy art/tattoo consent?

  • Absolutely, you will want to make your purchase directly with me through email [email protected] or through the contact page.

What is the average cost of an exclusive commissioned tattoo design?

  • There are many factors that determine the price, but most designs range from $180-$600 at the moment, depending on the needs of the design. For example, I can design a coverup tattoo for you, but it will be more expensive because the needs are more extensive.

What is the average cost of a commissioned painting?

  • This depends on many factors such as medium, size, requirements, delivery format, and deadline. For an idea, the average 11x14 watercolor painting can take 1-3 days and for projects like that, I charge $200 a day. You pay a deposit upfront and the remaining balance when it is finished, after which, you get the original painting delivered to you through the post and I reserve the rights to the imagery. Delivery estimate varies, please inquire through email.
